Position Background
This position will be based in Taicang city, Jiangsu Province (around 75% of the working time) and Pudong District, Shanghai city (around 25% of the working time) and directly report to Vice President China Operations with dotted line reporting to Functional VP in US. Both the two direct reports of this position are US citizens and native English speakers.
Customer Background
The worldwide headquarter of our customer is based in US and the MFG facilities are scattered all around the world. In the coming 2 or 3 years, our customer has a very aggressive and ambitious operation expansion plan in both China and Asia Pacific Area.
Career Development
This position can be promoted to be Finance Controller Asia Pacific Operations within 2 or 3 years if he or she can bring good performance to the Company.
Key Responsibilities
Help the Corporate to set up 2 or 3 MFG factories in east China area;
Review and advise internal policy & procedure for effective management and control;
Handle annual budgeting, quarterly financial forecasting, and monthly budget tracking;
Manage cash flow forecast and arrange financial instruments;
Liaise with other departments and offices in China and effectively communicate with the head office in US and provide finance related support;
Define, analyze and monitor cost centers;
Handle margin and expense analysis (Project), cost control;
Manage inventory levels; reviewing coordinating and integrating the existing systems;
Study system capabilities, analyze alternative solutions; provide necessary decision - making support;
Support the management in all key customer/supplier-related issues.
Bachelor degree or above, majored in finance or accounting and CPA is preferred;
Good Command of English and English speaking is good enough to communicate;
Minimum 5 years financial experience including at least 3 years in a financial management role in a multinational company;
Familiar in usage of ERP software applications;
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills;
Excellent communication and team spirit;
Good knowledge of ERP System.
Mature, detail-oriented and self-motivated personality;
